Black to the Future - Sons of Kemet

Black to the Future (2021 – Impulse!), le quatrième album de Sons of Kemet, s'est avéré un chef d’œuvre incontestable; un album tout aussi percutant musicalement que socialement et spirituellement engagé.

Autour du multi-instrumentaliste et bandleader Shabaka Hutchings, on retrouve Theon Cross au tuba, et Edward Wakili-Hick et Tom Skinner à la batterie et aux percussions, qui sont rejoints sur l’album par de nombreux vocalistes et musiciens invités, notamment Moor Mother, Josh Idehen et Kojey Radical.
