All in My Mind – Dr. Lonnie Smith

Second album by Hammond B-3 organ legend Dr. Lonnie Smith for the Blue Note label, since his return in 2016 after an absence of 46 years.

Flanked by his long-time trio of guitarist Jonathan Kreisberg and drummer Johnathan Blake, All In My Mind was recorded live (at Smith's request) during his 75th birthday celebration in July 2017 at the New York Jazz Standard.

The five-piece album, which includes Wayne Shorter's Juju and Paul Simon’s 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover , demonstrates unequivocally that the iconic Hammond B-3 organ virtuoso, even at the age of 75, still reigns supreme on his instrument.

For the first time on vinyl, this re-release is part of Blue Note Records’ Tone Poet Audiophile Vinyl Reissue Series; an all-analog production, mastered from the original tapes and pressed to vinyl (180g) at Record Technology Incorporated (RTI).
