Angel Tears in Sunlight - Pauline Anna Strom

Born blind, Pauline Anna Strom grew up in a home where classical music accompanied her throughout her childhood. Early in her adulthood, she became fascinated with electronic music and, in particular, the ambient works of Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze. She passed away in December 2020 at the age of 74; Strom herself became, in her own way, an Ambient legend.

The transcendent Angel Tears in Sunlight is the first (and last) album in almost 33 years for the California-based electronic musician; a response to the renewed interest in her music sparked by the release of Trans-Millenia Music (2017, RVNG Intl.), a collection of rare pieces composed and recorded between 1982 and 1988.

Entirely produced with new electronic instruments, Angel Tears in Sunlight is a stunning album with both organic and cosmic overtones!
