Black to the Future (2021 - Impulse!), the fourth album by Sons of Kemet, turns out to be an undeniable masterpiece; an album that is as musically powerful as it is socially and spiritually committed.

The album features the Sons of Kemet lineup - the multi-instrumentalist and bandleader Shabaka Hutchings, Theon Cross on tuba, Edward Wakili-Hick and Tom Skinner on drums and percussion - who are joined by numerous guest vocalists and instrumentalists, including Moor Mother, Josh Idehen and Kojey Radical.
