Swans, an intense New York band led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira, have explored, from their inception, a radical musical vision.

Die Tür Ist Zu (German for The Door Is Closed) was initially released in 1996 but only on CD in Germany. The album was first issued on vinyl for RSD 2018 - a double album with three sides of music and a an etching of Gira's art on the 4th side.
