A more direct and agressive sound
Sigur Rós is definitely a prolific formation. Their album, Kveikur - their first with XL Recordings is an evolution of the Group towards a more direct, a more abrasive sound which heavyness contrasts with their usual ethereal aesthetic.
A majestic and poignant work in chiaroscuro.
