Locust Abortion Technician - an irreverent work
The music of Butthole Surfers (as their central character Gibby Haynes) defies categorization. The distinctive sound of this Texan group (formed in the early 80s) proves to be a chaotic and delirious mix of rock variations, hardcore and experimentations.
Highly intoxicated and of a exacerbated psychedelia, this music - exploded, burning, cheeky, humorous, absurd - is at its peak on Locust Abortion Technician - a landmark work of American underground rock.
