More Energy Fields, Current - Carlos Niño and Friends

More Energy Fields, Current (2021 - International Anthem), is the latest album from Los Angeles bandleader, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist Carlos Niño: a warm, comforting, and intimate spiritual jazz album.

For the album, Niño brings together a group of talented collaborators from the Californian scene and beyond, including Laraaji on zither and vocals, pianist Jamael Dean, percussionist Randy Gloss, saxophonist Devin Daniels, saxophonist and guitarist Sam Gendel, guitarist Nate Mercereau and drummer Jamire Williams (who is also credited for the "painting"), joined by DNTEL on synth and Sons of Kemet's Shabaka Hutchings on sax.
