Musick to Play in the Dark - Coil

Few groups in recent history have forged a body of work as confounding and alchemical as Coil, the partnership of Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson and John Balance. From album to album, their recordings have spelunked the perplexing depths of esoteric industrial, occult electronics, and drugged poetry, both embodying and alienating parallel currents of their peers.

Their magnum opus Musick to Play in the Dark (1999) hes been reissued for the first time in over 20 years, on double LP with the complete, unedited versions of each piece and an exclusive D-side vinyl art etching; completely remastered by engineer Josh Bonati, with restored artwork and layout by Nathaniel Young - all under the project supervision of Drew McDowall and Thighpaulsandra (two acolytes of Balance and Christopherson who have collaborated on the album).
