Melbourne’s King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard seventh album, Paper Mâché Dream Balloon is an all acoustic experiment, very different from any of their previous projects; acoustic guitars, double bass, flute, fiddle, harmonica, drum kit, clarinet, no electric instruments, … soft melodies and great catchy melodic songs.

Paper Mâché Dream Balloon marks the band’s ATO Records debut and despite the complete turnaround, Paper Mâché is a playful and pleasant album with inspired song writing influenced by blues and folk, that can be listened to from beginning to end, preferably on a turntable.
