Runaljod - Gap Var Ginnunga is a profound, grandiose and bewitching album, which awakens an immemorial magic.

Wardruna, a musical project of multi-instrumentalist Einar "Kvitrafn" Selvik, Lindy Fay Hella and Gaahl (an iconic figure of the Norwegian Black Metal scene), takes us more than a thousand years back, in the folkloric atmosphere of the peoples of the North (especially the Vikings). Inspired by ancient Runic epitaphs, their music (which would be closer to Dead Can Dance than Gorgoroth) is rich in ancient instruments and singing, all set in an enveloping sonic landscape.

The group Wardruna, moreover, will contribute to the soundtrack of the new season of the Viking TV series.
