Ryo Fukui in New York (1999) is the fourth album by the famous Sapporo pianist Ryo Fukui. Recorded at Avatar Recording Studios in New York with veteran jazz musicians (and frequent collaborators of Barry Harris - his idol and mentor) Lisle Arthur Atkinson on bass and Leroy Williams on drums, Fukui covers classics by Charlie Parker, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter and Bud Powell, as well as a superb cover of his own, Mellow Dream.

This reissue (2020 - We Release Jazz) is pressed on 180g vinyl and has been Half speed mastered from the original master tapes.
