The Wind – Balmorhea

For the duo of Rob Lowe and Michael A. Muller, aka Balmorhea, the album The Wind (2021 - Deutsche Grammophon) is a fundamentally different work from their previous discography and a return to the original duo format.

The Wind accentuates the minimalist aspect of the duo and disengages almost completely from the post-rock world. The electronics also disappear for a series of twelve strictly acoustic meditative pieces that definitely embrace the world of modern classical.
