Tribute - Keith Jarrett Trio

The Keith Jarrett’s “Standards Trio”, featuring himself on piano, Gary Peacock on double-bass and Jack DeJohnette on drums is recognized as one of the most creative (and long lasting – over 30 years) group of jazz musicians over the last decades.

Tribute, a double album recorded live on October 1989 at the Philarmonie de Cologne (Köln) in West Germany and released on the ECM label. The performance is based on a concept. The performance brilliantly revisits songs, dedicated to those who once performed them: Lee Konitz, Jim Hall, Nancy Wilson, Bill Evans, Charlie Parker, Coleman Hawkins, Miles Davis, Anita O’Day, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane.
