Undertow - Wolf Eyes

Undertow, album of the experimental trio noise rock, trip metal, psycho Jazz from Ann Arbor in Michigan, Wolf Eyes (Nate Young, John Olson and Jim Baljo), marks their debut on their own label, Lower Floor Music.

Formed in 1996, Wolf Eyes take their inspiration from the ideology of free jazz and applies it to harder and more threatening musical genres, a mix of industrial, death metal and drone rock. The group is one of the most prolific, inventive and long lasting underground music groups; the group has produced an impressive amount of material since its creation (virtually all recorded and released on their own).

Undertow is a totally different listening experience; a radioactive kinetic mixture of free musical elements, combining death-dub, free jazz, metal and electronic music.
