Universal Beings (2018 - International Anthem), by the impressive drummer and visionary producer Makaya McCraven, is a masterful album that illustrates McCraven's unique talent for capturing the essence of universal artistic expression.

Captured from live improvisations at performances in various cities around the world (Chicago, London, New York and Los Angeles) in collaboration with avant-garde musicians including Shabaka Hutchings, Tomeka Reid and Brandee Younger, the tracks on the album were reinterpreted in post-production.
