Reissue of the Miles Davis compilation album Water Babies released in 1976 by Columbia Records.
The album includes material recorded during studio sessions, including alternate takes of his album Nefertiti (1968) and recordings that foreshadowed his direction on In a Silent Way (1969), with his 1967-1968 quintet (Herbie Hancock - piano, Tony Williams - drums, Ron Carter - bass, and Wayne Shorter - saxophone) and contributions from Chick Corea (piano) and Dave Holland (bass) on Two Faced and Dual Mr. Tillman Anthony.
