We Are Sent Here by History - Shabaka and the Ancestors

Shabaka and the Ancestors is a project initiated by a leading figure of the London jazz scene, saxophonist-clarinettist and composer Shabaka Hutchings (Sons of Kemet and The Comet Is Coming), built around musicians from South Africa.

We Are Sent Here by History is the second album of this group and follows their album Wisdom of Elders, released in 2016.

Spiritual jazz in the vein of Pharoah Sanders and John Coltrane.
