Who Are You? – Joel Ross

Chicago native Joel Ross has established himself as one of the most exciting and versatile vibraphonists in modern jazz. Focused band leader, gifted composer and steadfast improvisor, Ross favours a collaborative and synergistic approach with his talented quintet, Good Vibes.

Who Are You? follows his excellent Kingmaker, released in 2019. For this second album for the Blue Note label, Ross has surrounded himself with an incredibly talented core of musicians: pianist Jeremy Corren, alto saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins and drummer Jeremy Dutton (all of whom have contributed to Kingmaker). Joining the band for this album are bassist Kanoa Mendenhall and harpist Brandee Younger.
